Clark Management Group's lighthouse logo was inspired by Ontario's Nottawasaga Island Lighthouse, also called Clark's Island/Lighthouse by the some of the locals. This lighthouse was constructed in 1855-59 and is one of the most historic structures of the great lakes.
The imposing limestone lighthouse soars 86 feet and serves as one of the few reminders of our bold and diverse marine heritage. The light served Collingwood's once busy port as a guide for mariners around treacherous shoals and through sudden Georgian Bay gales. Maintained by 13 men and their families over 124 years of operation, the island is now home to hundreds of nesting migratory birds.
